We would like to express our deep appreciation for your support of Japan Post Insurance Co., Ltd., also known as “Kampo.”
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Postal Life Insurance Service. Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest gratitude for the support and fidelity we have received from our stakeholders over the past century.
The Postal Life Insurance Service was founded in October 1916 to fulfill its social mission of “protecting the means of fundamental livelihood of the public through simple procedures.” Since then, Kampo has stayed true to the social mission, providing its customers with simple and easy-to-understand life insurance products with smaller coverage amounts through the nationwide post office network, while enhancing its caring services for customers. In line with the listing of our common stock, we will continue to satisfy the needs of a greater number of customers and further refine our business model to be a big, unique and heartfelt company.
We have also redefined our former management philosophy as “Be a trustful partner for people, always being close at hand and endeavoring to protect their well-being.” In order to remain as a company trusted and loved by our customers for the centuries to come, we aim to become the “No. 1 Japanese insurance company selected by customers,” and contribute to the local communities primarily through the post office network, while exerting concerted efforts to achieve sustainable growth and enhancement of corporate value over the medium-to-long term.
